Jakarta Police Traffic Directorate will install 304 cameras to monitor the Closet Circuit Television motorbike travelers in Kedung Waringin, Karawang, Bekasi Regency and Citra Raya, Tangerang Regency.
Coordinator of Traffic Management Center (TMC) Commissioner Saktiadi Iwan said, in addition to hotspots in the area of Jakarta, the two border which is always a gate exit and entry of motorcyclists, many cameras will be installed more monitors.
“This is to monitor directly the travelers. We prepared 304 CCTV, consisting of 159 units of local government-owned, NTMC 105 units, and TMC Polda Metro Jaya 40 units. All of CCTV is connected directly with the TMC Polda Metro Jaya,” said Iwan here on Friday , August 19, 2011.
It is said Iwan, at the point where the installation of CCTV will be set up security posts to keep the motor driver that will pass. In the post it will be the examination papers and passenger capacity.
“The personnel are required to take action. Thus, not only at the check points only but from the beginning of the journey requested action has been done,” said Iwan.
How this is done to minimize motorcycle travelers who commits an offense at the initial point of departure, with this bike then the travelers who commits an offense can be more easily detected.
In addition, members are also asked to conduct monitoring of public transport. If you see any violations of the members are asked to immediately cease and menindaknya.
