SMK Jakarta Capable Aircraft Fly to Malaysia.

Using fuel and speed pertamax approximately 130 knots, the aircraft is capable of reaching distance of Jakarta-Surabaya in three hours with only 80 liters of fuel oil (BBM) pertamax. Price of these aircraft is estimated at Rp1, 3 billion.
Head of Skills Program Airframe and powerplant SMK N 29 Jakarta, Ahmad Budiman said the high price of the selling cost of assembling and adjusting the amount of materials used.
“We dare to offer this aircraft to Rp1, 3 billion,” Budiman said in Jakarta on Monday, January 9, 2012.
According to Budiman, the aircraft is planned to be produced as many as 20 units. He said, the cost of assembling the aircraft is expensive when compared to assemble a car. Therefore, a widely used material imported from abroad.
However, the cost is entirely borne by the Ministry
Education and Culture. “The cost of expensive assembly up to Rp200 million,” he said.
Budiman explained the cost to purchase local materials issued around Rp 100 million and postage materials imports approximately 300 million. In the meantime, he said, most of the aircraft components are still imported from Australia and 10 percent comes from local ingredients.
Budiman said, this time working already to 95 percent. Namely, the finishing process, such as installation of the wing, fuel tank installation, painting and others. “Estimated end of this month is over,” said Budiman.
Aircraft Jabiru J430 is the latest release of 29 children SMKN Jakarta. Earlier in 2009, they managed to assemble the aircraft type that is named “Jabiru J200”.
The difference is, before the aircraft with a capacity of only two people, while the latest is able to accommodate four people.
