“Cabinet overhauled to Fill Empty Seats”.

Deputy Secretary General of the Democratic Party indicated Saan Mustofa United Indonesia Cabinet reshuffle plan of volume II. According to him, this reform as a consequence of a number of cabinet seats empty.
Told reporters at the Parliament Building, today, Saan said there were two empty seats, the health minister and deputy minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. Both seats are empty after the officers died, the Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih and Widjajono Partowidagdo.
According to Saan, the President has the prerogative to appoint new officers to fill these two positions. “The president has to think, examine, explore, and look at the right time to replace it,” said Saan.
He hoped all parties to be patient until the President is ready to announce who will enter the cabinet. “Just wait.”
On that occasion, Saan reaffirmed the rule in lifting wamen. According to him, wamen appointed under clear rules so that government can work best, capable of running programs, and policies as well. “The existence of Wamen is needed, it becomes an urgent need to accelerate and the performance of government,” he said.
Today, the Constitutional Court will decide the fate of wamen position. Court will answer the judicial review of Law Number 39 Year 2008 regarding the proposed by the Ministry of National Movement for the Eradication of Corruption (GN-PK).
The plaintiffs assess Article 10 of Law No. 39 of 2008 is contrary to the 1945 Constitution. The post was not provided for in Article 17 UUD 1945 which governs the state ministries.
