According to the Marine Fuel Industry and Region III Manager, Arief Prianto, a breakthrough that is launching a retail dealer of fuel oil tanker with a capacity of five thousand liters.
“The car that moves like a gas station (public refueling station) is only selling the fuel type of Solar,” Arief said at the pump Hayam Wuruk, Denpasar, Bali, Friday, June 15, 2012.
According to Arief, the car is equipped with a flow meter, product pump, and nozzle. “This will serve retail agents selling non-subsidized Solar for various needs such as generators in the hospitality, offices, small businesses, as well as the needs of mining and plantations,” he added.
The launch of this round of retail fuel dealer, he continued, is part of Pertamina’s initiative to support the government’s policy in curbing the consumption of subsidized fuel.
Arief said, the spread of these agents will take precedence in the industrial area, to enable customers to obtain non-subsidized fuel.
Actually, according to him, the industry has purchased non-subsidized fuel to meet the needs that are stored in tanks at industrial locations.
However, he continued, is often the problem is sometimes there are industrial vehicles which are not always able to come to the location of the fuel tank, so it would line up at gas stations that provide subsidized fuel.
This retail agent, Arief expect, can meet the needs of consumers who require non-subsidized Solar with a small volume purchases or below 1,000 liters.
In the Bali-Nusra, Arief said, Pertamina will target fleet of 11 fuel retail dealer. The first phase, in Bali will operate a fleet owned by Pertamina. Meanwhile, in Kupang, NTT, will operate a fleet of fuel-owned Pertamina agent.
Nationally, there are currently 65 fleets Pertamina fuel dealer who will be operating. The details, Sumatra 12 fleet, Jakarta, West Java, Banten six fleets, Central Java, East Java Balinus-21 fleet, a fleet of 20 Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Maluku-Papua-6 fleet.
“Until the end of the year there will be about 200 similar fleet that will operate throughout Indonesia,” he said.
In addition, Arief said, Pertamina will provide “red carpet” for the consumer or non-subsidized fuel Pertamax buyers.
